Lola Patricia "Pat" Ransom, 82, of the Shawtown community passed away 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Obion County Nursing Home.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Samburg Assembly of God. Brother James Gunter and Brother George Hutchison will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Samburg Assembly of God from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pat was born August 22, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Walter Clayton and Lola (Howard) Dove. She married Luther Ransom August 2, 1963. He preceded her in death November 27, 2021. Pat was a homemaker and a member of Samburg Assembly of God. She sold fried pies at the Lake County flea market for many years and enjoyed crocheting and seamstress work.

She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Hutchison and husband James of Troy and Sandra Basham and husband T.J. of Murray, Kentucky; three sons, Danny Ransom of Evansville, Indiana and David Ransom and Timothy Ransom both of the Shawtown community; one sister, Sharon Strobel of Belleville, Michigan; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Dolly Dove; and one brother, Walter Clayton Dove, Jr.
