Patsy Ann "Pat" Poole, 72, of Union City passed away 2:20 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Mrs. Poole was a former longtime resident of Hornbeak.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Dale Bachelor will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Poole, Scott Grimes, Andy Grimes, Jackie Grimes, Brent Grimes, Max Grimes, Larry Mitchell, Jr., Daniel Mitchell and Todd Mitchell.

Mrs. Poole was born February 23, 1942, in Obion County, daughter of the late James Edward Grimes and the late Mary Maxine (Huey) Grimes Mitchell. She married Troy Poole May 30, 1958. He died January 17, 2011. Mrs. Poole was a retired licensed practical nurse and was the retired owner and operator of the former Our Place Restaurant in Hornbeak.

She is survived by five brothers, Bobby Grimes of Union City and Cloyce Grimes, Larry Mitchell, Bill Mitchell and Dennis Mitchell all of Hornbeak; two aunts, Ray Nelle McMillion of Obion and Rose Huey of Hornbeak; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, James Edward Poole; two brothers, McElroy "Hoggie" Grimes and Jerry Grimes; her stepfather, Herman Mitchell; and her stepsister, Anita Edmiston.
