Obituary

Ms. Margie Patricia "Pat" Hayes, 75, of Union City passed away 9:44 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Randy Evans in Obion.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. David Roberson will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Evans, Mark Evans, Scottie Lee Hayes, Todd Guess, Gerald Donnell and Mike O'Steen.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

Pat was born April 22, 1941, in Obion County, daughter of the late David Cleburn and Martha Adean (Chumley) Glisson. She had been employed as a certified nurse's assistant at the Obion County Nursing Home and had also been employed at the former Salant & Salant in Obion.

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Susie and Randy Evans and Bridgett Hayes all of Obion; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Linda Hayes of the Shawtown community and Scottie Hayes of Samburg; seven grandchildren, Jamie Evans of Obion, Mark Evans of Havana, Cuba, Scottie Lee Hayes and Hunter Hayes both of Union City, Kirsten Launer of Samburg and Lee Hayes and Shea Hayes both of Alabama; fifteen great grandchildren; and one brother, Lexie Parks Hogan of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Madge Crayne; and one brother, David "Pete" Glisson.
