Pamela Mae Bethel-Hill, 47, went to be with the Lord at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010, at the home of her parents Arlee and Ruth (Ferguson) Laird in Dresden.
She was a resident of Union City for many years and currently made her home in Wingo, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1268 State Route 58, Mayfield, Kentucky 42066. Brother Joseph Green will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church from 5:30 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pam was born September 10, 1962, in Union City. She was also the daughter of the late Hubert Holcomb. She worked as a sub contractor for the United States Postal Service for 22 years and mostly recently as a private sitter for the elderly in Mayfield, Kentucky. Pam was a former Girl Scout leader and camp director and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her fiance' Brad Enoch of Wingo, Kentucky; three daughters, Candi Elkins of Union City, Brandi Gatlin of Nashville and Jaimie Bethel of Mayfield, Kentucky; four granddaughters, one grandson; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Butch Holcomb and Frank and Tammie Holcomb all of Paris, and Mike and Nicole Holcomb of Houston, Texas; her nephew and his wife, Frank and Lillie Holcomb of Paris; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Dovie Mae Taylor and her grandmother, Mildred Holcomb.
