Oletha Zilliott's Obituary
Mrs. Oletha Zilliott, 93, of Union City died 11:34 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
There will be no services. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Zilliott was born July 30, 1920, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Ernest K. and Roxie (Fuller) Johnson. She married William Dilworth Zilliott Jr. in 1948. He died in 1984. Oletha was the valedictorian of the class of 1937 at the former Hornbeak High School. She was a retired waitress and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, William Zilliott of Chantilli, Virginia and Robert Zilliott of Simi Valley, California; two sisters, Bettye Lasater of Union City and Doris Drown of Lady Lake, Florida; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise McElroy; her brother, B.T. Johnson; and her sister, Wyncye Halladay.
