March 17, 1929 – April 13, 2019
Noma Mae Franklin, 90, of Union City passed away 4:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Bible Church near Union City. Brother Darrell Hoffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at New Hope Bible Church from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Shane Glisson, George Franklin, Jim Franklin, Wayne Franklin, Larry Gene Davis and Joey Glover.
Miss Franklin was born March 17, 1929, in Hayti, Missouri, daughter of the late George Franklin, Sr. and the late Media Josephine (Shy) Franklin. She was a member of New Hope Bible Church.
She is survived by four nieces, Patty Smith (Vic) and their children Amos Smith all of Union City and Charity Smith of Troy; Brenda Minnick (Hershel) of Hornbeak, and Linda Fickle and Georgia Griffin (Jim) all of Tiptonville; five nephews, Wayne Franklin (Barbara) and Jim Franklin all of Dyersburg, George Franklin of Newbern, John Franklin (Lisa) of Halls and Charlie Franklin (Velvet) of Dyersburg; several great nieces and nehews; and her special friend, April "Nana" Henderson of Walnut Log.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, George Franklin, Jr.
