Mitizi Rena (Burress) Martin, 40, of Troy passed away 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Roy Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Shea Burress, Kody Burress, Tyler Burress, Ryan Burress, Eric Burress, Charlie Tran and Daniel Tran.

Mitzi was born August 13, 1977, in Dyersburg, daughter of James Nathan Burress of White Bluff and Betty Kay (Southerland) Burress of Kenton. She married Calvin Martin February 16, 1996. He survives. Mitzi was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Log Baptist Church.

She is also survived by one daughter, Madison Martin of Kenton; one son, Ayden Chase Martin of Troy; two grandchildren, Khloe Stough and Ryder McCoy Stough both of Kenton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Tammy and Chris McNeal of Troy and Tina Craig of Troy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Camelia Burress of Union City, Eric and Mariah Burress of Troy and Dr. Christopher and Brandy Burress of Dickson; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
