Misty Gail Freeman, 46, of Union City passed away 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Jason Pate and Brother Chris Aton will officiate. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be her family and friends.

Misty was born May 13, 1978, in Dyersburg, daughter of the late Michael Elvin Flatt and Cindy Gail (Johnson) Flatt of Union City.  She married Darrell Freeman November 6, 2004.  He survives. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting.  Misty was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is also survived by one brother, Michael Flatt (Brandy) of Union City; one sister, Hannah Flatt of Waterford Township, Michigan; her grandfather, Bonnie Johnson of Union City; one nephew, Jonah Flatt of Union City; and two great nephews, Major Anderson and Messiah Anderson both of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty Johnson and Elvin and Patricia Flatt.
