Mildred Wolverton's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Catherine Wolverton, 83, of Union City died 11:18 a.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009, at Golden Living Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Rosewood Room of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Brother Walter Asher will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Wolverton was born August 13, 1926, in Obion County, daughter of the late Mildred Eulda (Myers) Ross. She married J.T. Wolverton on January 4, 1940. He died April 10, 1981. Mrs. Wolverton was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Robinson of Union City, LaWanda Asher of Troy, Melinda Terry of Dresden and Melissa Wilson of Martin; her half sister, Regina Ellison of Troy and her half brother, W.H. Ross of Union City; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Parnell Wolverton and Gus Wolverton.
