Milburn J. "Little Daddy" Vaught, 76, of Reelfoot Lake passed away 10:15 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Steve Pinion will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Josh Whitledge, Scott Baker, Barry McKinnis, Michael Ross, Billy Joe Bryant, Butch Hastings and Dale Owens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lannie Hogg, Russell Caldwell, Jim Cook, Jack Coffer, Stewart Cooper, Timmy Gantt, Joe Denton, Richard Baggett, Sam C. Nailling, David Reeder, Marlo Smith, Zach Anderson, Ranger Anderson, Jerry Preuett, Harold D. Riddle, Jimmy Hood, Christopher Kent, Bennie Russom, Bobby Joe Driver and Jimmy Bell.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38101-9908 or Samburg Baptist Church.

Milburn was born February 11, 1939, in Obion County, son of the late J.A. and Maxine (Baker) Vaught. He retired from Menlo College in California after 31 years of service. Mr. Vaught was the owner and operator of Little Daddy's Resort on Reelfoot Lake and was a member of Samburg Baptist Church.

He is also survived by one daughter, Angela McLacklen of Reno, Nevada; one son, Vincent Vaught of Reno, Nevada; two sisters, Peggy Smith Hammond of Fulton, Kentucky and Donna Dyer of Senatobia, Mississippi; and two grandchildren, Colton McLacklen and Morgan Rose McLacklen both of Reno, Nevada.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Sam "Sonny" Vaught .
