Mikey was born June 17, 1965, in Union City, son of Peggy (Morris) Terry and the late James Walker Terry. He married Natalie (Glover) Terry December 31, 1990. As a child Mikey had a reputation as quite the risk taker. He loved motorcycles, race cars and outdoor sports. In adulthood he turned all of his attention to bass tournaments. His greatest successes were winning $100,000.00 in the Forest L. Wood Open June 21, 1996 and a Bassmaster BP Top 100 December 4, 1993. As his family grew Mikey decided life on the road wasn't for him and changed his focus to farming. The spring, summer and falls for almost 30 years were spent growing corn and soybeans while also raising chickens for Tyson. During winter all of his thoughts turned back to duck and goose hunting like he did as a small child with his Dad and Granddad. This passion extended into his adult hunting days. Many great friendships and legendary tales were made at "The Money Pit". Mikey found his greatest joy earning his beloved name "Go Go" spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them to share his love of the outdoors. Mikey was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Obion.
He is survived by his wife, Natalie Terry of Obion; his mother, Peggy Terry of Obion; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelby and John Foster of Obion; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Spencer and Brittany Terry and Brandon Terry of Obion; his sister, Deborah Clouse of Union City; five grandchildren, Frank Terry, David Terry, Ella Terry, Natalie Jane Foster and Lily Dale Foster all of Obion; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Randy Clouse.
