Lonnie Michael "Mikey" Moore, 52, of Union City passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, October 20, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Lloyd Wayne Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery near Obion.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Paul Sanders, Stacy Thompson, Dillion Mathis, Rick Tyler, Randy Molands and Todd Wright.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the maintenance department at Tyson Foods.

Mikey was born August 17, 1971, in Union City, son of the late Lonnie Harold Moore and the late Nancy Kay (Butler) Reed. He married Mary Ellen (Ray) Moore on May 19, 2001. Mikey was employed as a maintenance planner with Tyson Foods. He enjoyed racing motocross, enjoyed listening to music and was a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Moore of Union City; three sons, Tyler Moore and Brittany Quillen of Union City, Tim Moore and wife Kathryn of Martin and Josh Moore and fiancee' Chloe Gammons of Jackson; one brother, Mitchell Moore and wife Heather of South Fulton; five grandchildren, Jaida Moore, Connor Moore, Lily Lang and Emma Lang all of Union City and Anne Elise Moore of Martin; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
