Mike Woods' Obituary
Mr. Charles Michael Woods, 65, of Hickman passed away 8:45 a.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Gary Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Austin Williams, Ryan Williams, Raymond Whitehead, Jamie Whitehead, Jim Moss, Ralph Wayne Adams, Ryan Amberg and Joey Parker.
Mr. Woods was born January 8, 1952, in Union City, son of the late Thomas Ellingberg and Bonnie Sue Woods. He was a member of the Fulton County Resque Squad and Fulton County Sheriff Depart for many years. He also farmed in Fulton County for his whole life.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa and Corey O'Mar of Clinton, Ky. and Robin and John Amberg of Hickman; three grandchildren, Anna Grace Johnson of Hickman, Zachary and Jayda Moore of Union City and Dustin and Angela Spillman of Caruthersville, Mo.; and two great grandchildren, Baylee and Lathan Moore of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rylee Moore.
