Mr. Mike Burke, 57, of Union City died 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 29,2013, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Billy Uzzle will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Danny Jones, Larry Parish, Dan Crittenden, Kenny Adkins, David Adkins and Harrison Jones.

Mr. Burke was born October 21, 1955, in Welch, West Virginia, son of the late Sidney Burke and the late Margaret Jean (England) Smith. He had been employed at Lennox Hearth Products and had served as a union stewart there.

He is survived by two daughters and his son-in-law, Stacey Burke of Westerville, Ohio and Amber Burke Eaton and Ron Eaton of Lancaster, Ohio; three sons and his daughter-in-law, Kacey and Nancy Warthman of Zanesville, Ohio, Jeremiah Adkins of Lancaster, Ohio and Alan Wayne Burke of Union City; four sisters, Marcella Kay Burke of Sevierville, Brenda Sue Crittenden of Lancaster, Ohio, Jeannie Burke Wilmath of Union City and Patty Burke Jones of Jackson; four grandchildren; four step sisters, Bernice Boone of Union City, Mary Vanderlaan of Muskegon, Michigan, Margaret Handley of Enid, Oklahoma and Dorothy Sprayberry of Wichita, Kansas; three step brothers, Lester Burnes, Arthur Burnes and Kenneth Burnes all of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Fay Burke; and his brother, Elliott Burke.
