Midian "Mid" Toombs, 44, of Troy passed away 4:44 a.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Robert Goodman will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery near Union City.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Josh Smith, Tyler Hunter, Jeff Chambers, Timothy Morris, Jacob Conn and Nathan Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Fout, Larry Toombs and Jerry DeHart.

Mid was born May 3, 1978, in Grapeland, Texas, daughter of the late Donald Harmon Kyle, Jr. and the late Kathy Mae (Perks) Kerr. She married Joe Toombs June 24, 2016. Mid was employed as a quality assurance specialist for Senior Solutions and was a member of Laneview Baptist Church near Kenton. She enjoyed photography and baking.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Toombs of Troy; four daughters, Candie Hunter (Tyler) of Rives, Kathy Morris (Timothy) of Humboldt, Carmen Young (Nathan Mitchell) and Jennifer Young all of Dyer; two sons, Josh Smith (Chelsea) of Kenton and Eric Toombs (LaTonia Watts) of Hickman, Kentucky; two sisters, Deborah Fout (Timothy) of Kenton and Maachah Kyle of Claremore, Oklahoma; and ten grandchildren.
