Marcia Michelle (Wood) Richard, 43, of Union City passed away 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Vernon Alexander will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery in Fancy Farm, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Denise Cobb, Carolyn Goetz, Shannon McGee, Robin Jackson, Kady Ballard and Amanda Boaz.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Goetz, Bruce Collins, Mike Workman, Chad Dill, Joey Nelson, Zach Cloar, Brad Cloar, Paul Cobb, Sr., Paul Cobb, Jr. and Richard Ballard

Michelle was born July 4, 1971, in Dyersburg, daughter of the late Ronnie and Mary (Barlowe) Wood. She married Brian Richard March 1, 2003. He died July 10, 2014. Michelle was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Union City.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Kayla Richard of Mayfield, Kentucky; her daughter, Jessica Richard of Mayfield, Kentucky; her sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and David Hawks of Union City; her brother, Mike Wood of Union City; her grandson, Lane Richard of Mayfield, Kentucky; her mother-in-law, Pat Ellegood of Mayfield, Kentucky; and three sisters-in-law, Amy Turner, Cindy Gore and Teresa Gregory all of Mayfield, Kentucky.
