Mrs. Maudie Jones, 78, of Union City passed away 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jimmy Brown and Brother Truitt Cockrell will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Maudie was born November 19, 1942, in Tiptonville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Narvis and Mamie (Croson) Harrison.  She had been employed as a cook for the former Little Dixie Restaurant and Dixie Barn in Union City and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church #2 near Rives.

She is survived by two sons, David Jones (Jennifer) of Union City and Harold Jones of Jackson, Michigan; two grandchildren, Jake Jones (Chelsey) and Colton Jones all of Union City; two great grandchildren, Carmi Jones and Jaxson Jones both of Union City; one sister, Linda Burcham (Barry) of Union City; and four nephews, Chris Madrey (Sherry) of Union City, Dale Harrison of Memphis, Shelby Earl Harrison of Union City and Jerry Harrison of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Harrison, Clyde Harrison and Gerald Harrison; and one nephew, Scotty Madrey.
