Mrs. Mary Virginia (Hoffman) Treece, 67, of Union City died 7:31 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, in the emergency
room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Larry Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Clay Treece, Chase Treece, Benjamin Yates, Denver Storey, John Davis, Bryan Breeden and Dick Barlow.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Seekers Sunday School Class of Second Baptist Church.
Mrs. Treece was born October 19, 1945, in Union City, daughter of the late R.S. and Elizabeth (Ingrum) Hoffman. She married Tommy Treece June 2, 1963. He survives. She had been the owner and operator of the former Union City Weight Loss Center and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City and The Seekers Sunday School Class.
She is also survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Alisha and Donnie Craddock and Allison Treece all of Union City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Lisa Treece of Troy and Brad and Amy Treece of Union City; her sister, Joyce Lunsford of Union City; her brother, Robert Wayne Hoffman of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren, Victoria Treece of Washinghton, D.C., Kimberly Storey of Troy and Benjamin Yates, Kelsey Craddock, Brady Craddock, Clay Treece, Chase Treece and Olivia Roby all of Union City; and two great grandchildren, Brayden Jett Storey of Troy and Gracelyn Brooke Yates of Union City.
