Mary M. Reed, 80, of Samburg passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Clark Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Old Republican Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Blake Anderson, Brayden Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Reed Glessner, Eric Byrd, Brian Byrd, Michael Fulcher and Stevie Lane.

Mary was born October 1, 1942, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Norman Shell and Lessie Myrtle (Counce) Lane. She married Grant Reed September 15, 1984. He survives. Mary retired from Kohler in Union City and was a member of the former Evangel Temple Assembly of God.

She is also survived by one son, David Boyle of Spokane, Washington; one stepson, Phillip Reed and wife Janet of the Dixie community; three stepdaughters, Symantha Reed (Mike Aaron) and Sophia Glessner and husband John all of Samburg and Vanessa Simmons and husband Mike of the Walnut Log community; four grandchildren, Blake Anderson (Jessica Jones) and Kelsey Quinn and husband Chase all of Troy, Nelson Reed of Pangburn, Arkansas and Reed Glessner of Samburg; and five great grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Brayden Anderson, Maddi Kaye Anderson and Lowen Quinn all of Troy and Lyla Reed of Pangburn, Arkansas.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Anderson; one son, Kenneth Boyle; one sister, Joyce Bingham; and three brothers, J.W. Lane, Ed Lane and Fisher Lane.
