Ms. Mary Ellen Mohs, devoted mother of Dawn Yen Marie, passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by her parents Hilary F. Mohs and Ruby Pearl (nee) Davis and her brothers Donald and John. She is also survived by her brother Michael and nine nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union City.  Father Carl Gregorich will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the church's columbarium.

Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday.

Mary was a lifelong learner and was proud of the Ph.D. RD degree earned at the University of Arizona. Following her doctorate she worked at NE Missouri State, University of Houston and UT-Martin until her retirement in 2000.
