Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Crass, 81, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 3:31 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jenny Lucy in Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Hickman City Cemetery. Rev. John Carroll will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hickman Public Library, 902 Moscow Avenue,
Hickman, Kentucky 42050.

Mrs. Crass was born February 5, 1940, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Cusick and Rachel (Harrington) Sanger. She first married Robert A. Lucy in 1965. He died August 25, 1975. She then married David Fayne Crass. He survives. She was a member of Hickman First Baptist Church and worked for many years as librarian for Hickman Public Library and well as Fulton County Bookmobile.

She is also survived by two sons, Robert Lucy (Jenny) of Union City and James Lucy (Kathy) of Hickman, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Sean Lucy of Hickman, Kentucky, Hunter Lucy of Union City and Ian Lucy of Hickman, Kentucky; one sister, Ruth Ann Graham (Jerry) of Cayce, Kentucky; one nephew, Jay Graham of San Jose, California; and one niece, Carey Carroll (John) of Clinton, Kentucky.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Harrington Sanger.
