Ms. Mary Margaret Burden, 63, of Woodland Mills died 5:45 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemtery. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate.

Mrs. Burden was born April 18, 1945, in Lake County, daughter of the late Albert and Wanda Lovell (Byerly) Moore. She retired from Willams Sausage after 16 years of service.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Mike Meadows of South Fulton; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Leigh Ann Burden of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Beth Meadows, Ella Burden, Whitney Johnson and Abby Johnson all of South Fulton; two great-grandchildren, Emily Meadows and Matthew Meadows both of South Fulton; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, George and Sue Moore and Albert and Maudie Moore all of Union City, Clarence and Maryland Moore and Mike Moore all of Troy; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Donald Stark of Buckner, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Burden, one brother, Jimmy Moore and her sister-in-law, Laura Moore.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday.

Pallbearers to serve will be Jimmy Flood, David Flood, Robert Haley, Glenn Meadows, Sean Williams and Freddie Preuett Jr.
