Mary Anne Becton, 81, of Union City passed away 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at The Waters of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Allen James and Rev. Glenn Wattts will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be her sons and grandson.

Mary Anne was born December 3, 1941, in Gibson County, daughter of the late Raymond Jackson and Annie Lee (Austin) James. She married Wallace Becton May 15, 1959. He survives. Mary Anne was a homemaker and attended Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is also survived by three sons, Wayne Becton, Jason Becton and wife Kim and Scott Becton and wife Elizabeth all of Union City; four grandchildren, Amber Martin and husband Ryan of Nolensville, Clay Becton and Jaime Becton both of Union City and Daphne Becton of Troy; two great grandchildren, Grant Martin and Brock Martin both of Nolensville; and one brother, William James and wife Judy of Oakland.

She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Julianne Becton.
