Mr. Marvin Ellison, 85, of Kenton passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Dennis Cleek will officiate. Burial will follow in Alamo Cemetery near Rives.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Royce Spencer, Tim Johns, Keith Horner, Jody Little, Bobby Cooper and Keith Vinson.

Marvin was born March 5, 1939, in Rives, son of the late Tad and Annie (James) Ellison. He worked for Ford Construction as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the former Kenton Masonic Lodge #392.  Marvin enjoyed attending all the other lodges in this area. He enjoyed working in his shop on automobiles with his son, Tim. Marvin also loved to play with the families chocolate lab, Bella.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Devin Davis (Brock) of Jackson; his daughter-in-law, Sandy Ellison of Rives; and his brother, Roy Lee Ellison (Sherry) of Rives; and

He was also preceded in death by two sons, Terry Ellison and Tim Ellison; and four brothers, Claude Ellison, Horace Ellison, W.A. Ellison and Harvey Ellison.
