Marty Kirby's Obituary
Mr. Marty Lynn Kirby, 51, of Dyersburg died Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a former resident of Hornbeak.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother William Matheny will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Marty was born July 11, 1962, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, son of the late Cloyd Kirby, Jr. and the late Opal (Jerden) Kirby. He had been employed at Pine Grove Recovery Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his sister, Shelia Gunn of Howell, Michigan; and five aunts, Marcella Erwin, Linda Jernigan, Shirley Hamm, Marguerite Wilson and Beverly Coston and two uncles, Joe Jerden and David Jerden all of Hornbeak.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Cloyd Kirby; and his uncle, Tommy Jerden.
