Memorial services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Troy Church of Christ . Jimmy Smith will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

Mr. Greer was born September 6, 1967, in Covington County, Alabama, son of the late Jerry Garland Greer and Bonnie G. (Windham) Greer of Millington. He worked for Lennox Hearth Products for 15 years and for the past 2 years at Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. in Obion, Tn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is also survived by his son, Cameron Wyatt Powers of Union City; his grandfather, J.P. Windham of Opp, Alabama; two sisters, Celynda G. and Robert Brooks of Millington and Donna Michelle Jordan of Tacoma, Washington; his nephew, Samuel Greer Brooks of Millington; his niece, Celynda Garland Brooks of Millington and his uncle, David G. Windham of Opp, Alabama.
