Martha Taylor's Obituary
Ms. Martha Raye (Orr) Taylor, 76, of Union City died 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Austin, David Victory, Roy Hardin, Allen Birmingham, Greg Orr and Robert Burton.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
She was born June 16, 1935, in Obion County, daughter of the late Bill and Nell (Williams) Orr. She was a homemaker and a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ.
Ms. Taylor is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Sheri and Dennis Ferrell of Union City and Judy Kirk of Panama City, Florida; her son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Lynn Taylor of Covington, Georgia; her sister, Faye (Orr) Vaughan of Nesbit, Mississippi; her brother, Homer Orr of Troy; her grandchildren, Chris, Jacob and Lauren, Amber Tweed, Brittany & Dakota Bolt, Joshua Taylor and Noah Taylor; and her great-grandson, Raleigh Bolt.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Orr and Jack Orr.
