Mrs. Martha Sue Roberts, 80, of Union City died 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at East View. Dr. Bobby Williams will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born February 14, 1934, in Lake County, daughter of the late Walter Jim and Lucille (Simmons) Davis Briscoe. She married Charles Roberts August 6, 1949. He died November 22, 2013. She had been employed at the former Char-Gale and the former Gurien Finishing Company in Union City and the former H.I.S. in Fulton, Kentucky. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Bethlehem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Sullivan Killion of Obion and Rhonda Stewart of Union City; two grandsons and their spouses, Richard Arliss and Crystal Sullivan of Obion and Brent Edward and Angela Marie Sullivan of Erie, Pennsylvania; four great grandchildren, Richard Arliss Sullivan, Jr. of Obion, and Charlie Edward Sullivan, T.J. Sullivan and Faith Marie Sullivan all of Erie, Pennsylvania; her identical twin sister, Mary Lou Martin of Lacrosse, Indiana; and her brother, Charles Watkins Davis of Dyersburg.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Davis Milner; and one brother, Walter Davis.
