Martha Juanita Ray, 76, of Union City passed away 8:30 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, at the Obion County Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Paul Ray Cagle will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Danny Henderson, John Henderson, James "Snapper" Henderson, Tommy Henderson, Tony Henderson and Scotty Henderson.

Mrs. Ray was born July 20, 1943, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Orville Singleton and the late Jessie (Jones) Singleton Parker. She married Trice Eugene Ray August 8, 1959 and had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Martha was a retired quality coordinator for the former Gurien Finishing Company in Union City and Hickman, Kentucky. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Union City.

She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Dan Edward Stacks of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law, Avery Eugene and Elizabeth Ray of Gilbertsville; one granddaughter, Amanda Stacks of Troy; two great grandsons, Andrew Burkeen and Brody Burkeen both of Troy; and one half sister, Charlene Rice of Nashville.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Velma Williamson and Joyce Hutchison; and three brothers, Terry Russell Singleton, Jimmy Vinson and James Singleton.
