Mrs. Martha (Treece) Jackson, 92, of Troy died at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at her home.

She was born March 26, 1919, in Obion County, daughter of the late O.F. and Lillie (Coleman) Treece. She was a homemaker and helped her husband the late Jim Jackson operate the former Jackson's Boat Dock at Reelfoot Lake and the former Jackson's Gravel Company. She married Mr. Jackson on October 14, 1937. He died June 5, 2000. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Troy.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Waggener of Martin; her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Becky Jackson of Dyersburg; two sisters, Mary James of Paris who is her twin and Louise Johnson of Hornbeak; four grandchildren, Jackie (wife Cathy) Waggener of Martin, J. Paul (wife Melaine) Jackson, Andrew (wife Jennifer) Jackson all of Dyersburg and Jill (husband Eli) Nelson of Tullahoma, Tennessee; and eight great grandchildren, Cody Waggener of Martin, Lauren Jackson, McKenzie Jackson, Hannah Jackson, Anna Blair Jackson and Walker Jackson all of Dyersburg and Joey Gilliland and Ben Gilliland both of Tullahoma, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Treece; and five sisters, Hautie Walker, Brown Hayes, Tommie James, Cora Higby and Fern Corum.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Bobby Stewart and Rev. Jimmy Calhoun will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Gwaltney, Kenneth Sanders, Paul Mosier, Kenneth Mobbs, Carl Gatewood, Clint Tittle and Ralph Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Waggener, J. Paul Jackson, Andrew Jackson and Eli Nelson.
