Marquena Leshon Parchman,33, lost her battle to cancer on April 25,2024 surrounded by love at Vanderbilt Hospital. Marquena was born on July 31, 1990 in Niles, MI to Angela Parchman and Mark Bullock. Although she was born in Niles, she was raised in Union City and Dyersburg TN. She would later graduate from Dyer County High School in 2008. Marquena was preceded in death by her Grandmother Twana Moore and grandfather Ronnie Deshazer.

Marquena was not only a loving daughter, but also a loving mother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She leaves behind two beautiful children Cor'Rina (9) and Marquis (6) Parchman, to help keep her memory alive. She also leaves behind three sisters, Brittney Parchman, Inabis Bullock, and Emari Bullock, as well as two brothers, Brian Macklin Jr. and Mark Phillips. Marquena also leaves behind two aunts, Tonya Parchman and Brandy Bullock, and her uncle Cortez Parchman,as well as many cousins to cherish her memory.

Growing up, Marquena loved playing basketball, dancing, and being the life of the party everywhere she went. As she got older she became more passionate about makeup, hair, and fashion. She rarely left the house without being glamoured up.

Marquena was definitely loved by so many people and will be truly missed!

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday, May 11, 2024.
