Mrs. Marland Kyra Maddox, 76, of Union City passed away 5:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Obion County Nursing Home.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Maddox was born December 26, 1943, in Lauderdale County, daughter of the late Alfred and Ruth (Brandonberg) Buckner. She married Paul Maddox January 11, 1964. He survives. Marland retired from Wal-Mart in Union City as photo lab manager after 13 years of service and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City.

She is also survived by two sons and daughers-in-law, David and Debbie Maddox and Shane and Rita Maddox all of Union City; two grandchildren and the spouse of one, Austin and Ashley Maddox and Rachel Maddox all of Union City; and two great grandchildren, Avery Nichole Maddox and Axel Lane Maddox both of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Buckner and Richard Whitney.
