Mr. Mark Alan Garner, Sr., 52, of Newbern died 10:58 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at his home.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Garner was born October 26, 1960, in Battle Creek, Michigan, son of the late Cecil Ray and Annette (Goad) Garner. He was a truck driver for many years.

Mr. Garner is survived by four sons, Alan Garner of Dyersburg, Joseph Garner of Portageville, Mo., Ethan Garner of Newbern and Michael Garner of Dyersburg; one daughter, Brandy Garner of Dyersburg; four grandchildren; one brother, Johnny Garner of Dyersburg and one sister, Teresa McNabb of Dyersburg.
