Obituary

Marilyn L. Garrigus, 65, of the Brownsville community near Hickman, Kentucky passed away 12:35 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Adam Newcomb, Austin Garrigus, John Paul Garrigus, Casey Garrigus, Jared Warner and Dennis Warner.

Mrs. Garrigus was born September 5, 1949, in Fulton County, Kentucky, daughter of the late William R.B. and Virgie Louise(Bates) Wilmath. She retired after 31 years of service from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City and was a member of David's Chapel Baptist Church in the Brownsville community.

She is survived by her husband, Milton Garrigus of the Brownsville community; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Tim Garrigus of Hickman, Kentucky, Jim and Joan Newcomb of Fulton, Kentucky, Kevin and Bree Newcomb of Henderson, Kentucky and Gannon and Tara Garrigus of Winchester, Kentucky; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Debbie Rushing of Cayce, Kentucky, Parah and Dennis Warner of Hickman, Kentucky, and Pam and Larry Roberson and Brenda and Kenneth Kimbel all of Murray, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren including three whom she raised, Felicia Lefebvre of Union City, Brandon Garrigus of Owensboro, Kentucky and Christopher Garrigus of Hickman, Kentucky; and twelve great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ray Wilmath; and one brother-in-law, Gregg Rushing.
