Mrs. Maria Rico, 69, of Martin passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Carl Gregorich will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery in Union City.

Pallbearers will be family.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday. Rosary services will start at 7:00 p.m.

Maria was born September 1, 1952, in Mexico, daughter of the late Antonio and Angela (Rivas) Guerrero. She married Luis Rico in 1976. He survives. She worked for Tyson Foods and was of the Catholic faith.

She is also survived by three daughters, Francisca Rico (Ramon), Evangelina Rico (Sergio) and Leticia Rico (Eliceo); four sons, Jose Luis Rico (Adriana), Redolfo Rico (Maria), Hector Rico (Ana) and Antonio Rico (Jaquelin); 24 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; two sisters, Esther Serrano and Concepcion Guerrero; and five brothers, Angel Guerrero, Margarito Guerrero, Ramiro Guerrero, Antonio Guerrero and Benjamin Guerrero.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Serafin Guerrero.
