Marguerite (Jerden) Wilson, 74, of Hornbeak passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Carl Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Deal, Scott Webb, Mike Hamm, Todd Jernigan, Richie Smith and Cameron Elam.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Marguerite was born June 10, 1946, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Joe Frank and Grace Helen (Alexander) Jerden. She married James Milton Wilson January 7, 1965. He preceded her in death March 17, 1988. Marguerite had been employed as a private sitter and attended Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Dawson (Chris) of Troy and Lindy Hodge of Union City; three sisters, Linda Jernigan, Shirley Hamm (Lesley) and Beverly Coston all of Hornbeak; two brothers, Joe Jerden (Debi) and David Jerden all of Hornbeak; four grandchildren, Chad Dawson, Josh Dawson, Chandler Wilson and Miranda Carroll (Ricky); and several great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Dewayne Wilson; two sisters, Opal Kirby and Marscella Erwin; and one brother, Tommy Jerden.
