Margaret Burcham's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Hazel Burcham, 95, of Union City died 9:30 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Union City. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 11:00 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Wren, Justin Burcham, David Upchurch and Lee Upchurch.
Mrs. Burcham was born July 13, 1918, in Jerden, Kentucky, daughter of the late Calvin B. and Ina (Graddy) Evans. She married W.D. Burcham November 3, 1934. He died January 30, 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Billy and Eva Dell Burcham of Martin, Tony and Jo Ann Burcham of Fulton, Kentucky and Barry Burcham and his fiancee Linda Madrey both of Union City; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Upchurch; her grandson, John Burcham; her sister, Evelyn Osborne; and two brothers, Wilson Evans and Bernard Evans.
