Mr. Marc Steven "Steve" Carroll, 60, of Reelfoot Lake died 1:50 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home in Union City, Tn. is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Steve was born January 7, 1953, in Memphis, son of Evelyn Jean (Hammers) Scallorn of Memphis and the late William D. Carroll. He married Judy (Bolding) Carroll August 24, 1985. She survives. Steve had been employed at Schering Plough and was the retired owner of American Services and Maintenance both in Memphis. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova and the Hickory Ridge Duck Club in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas.
In addition to his mother and wife Steve is also survived by two sons, Shannon Carroll of Germantown and Brock Carroll of Arlington; two step sons, Craig Pinner and Jeff Pinner both of Bartlett; his sister, Faith Prince of Memphis; two brothers, Bobby Brown of Brighton and Michael Carroll of Memphis; and five grandchildren whom he was known to as "Poppy", Brooke Carroll, Olivia Carroll, Meagan Pinner, Mason Pinner and Chloe Pinner.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Brown.
