Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Samburg Pentecostal Church . Sister Rose Huey and Chad Vancleave will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Samburg Pentecostal Church after 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Vancleave was born February 2, 1928, in Obion County, daughter of the late Ernest Reese and Lottie Byrd (Lee) Gamble. She married John E. Vancleave on December 21, 1947. He survives. She was a member of Samburg Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker.
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Buford Kelley of Samburg; five sons and two daughters-in-law, Glen and Jo Vancleave, Jerry Vancleave and Jackie and D'Anna Vancleave all of Samburg, Timmy Vancleave of the Shawtown community and Larry Vancleave of Union City; two sisters, Ima Jean Moore of Tiptonville and Brenda Dotson of Samburg; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Gamble; and her great grandson, Zach Vancleave.
