Addie Mae Tivis, 92, of Union City passed away 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at AHC VanAyer in Martin.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Tivis was born March 6, 1930, in Comanche, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Oliver Monroe and Arliddia (Powell) Spencer. She married James Darnell Tivis September 3, 1947. He preceded her in death September 19, 1995. Mae was a retired seamstress and homemaker and enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church in Union City.

She is survived by three sons, Harold Tivis (Cindy) of Union City, Frank Tivis (Lee Ann) of Decatur, Texas and Ron Tivis (Tonya) of Denton, Texas; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert Spencer and Joe Spencer.
