Ms. Olla Mae Bickford, 76, of Union City died 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2009, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday at Manna Ministries. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Pastor Ruth Green will officiate.

Ms. Bickford was born December 22, 1932 in Henry County, daughter of the late Robert Cliff and Mary Ann (Darrington) Bennett. She had been the owner & operator of the former Maddox Cafe & The Dinner Bell both in Lake County, was a memer of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and attened Manna Ministries.

She is survived by one daughter, Portia Bennett of Union City; one son, Danny Maddox of Tiptonville; one sister, Marjorie Berent of St. Petersburg, Florida; one brother, Don Bennett of Tampa, Florida; four grandchildren, Joe Bennett of Jackson, David Bennett of Union City, Levana Maddox of Oklahoma and Seth Maddox of Texas; and four great grandchildren, Brandon Bennett of Union City and Brittany Bennett of Dyersburg.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends at Manna Ministries 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Pallbearers to serve will be Harlan Bennett, Steve Kendall, Joe Simpson, Mike Willis, Jerry Dyer and Ed Southern.
