Mr. James Mack Cooper III, 55, of Union City died Thursday morning, March 18, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother James Kinsey will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery .

Mr. Cooper was born May 25, 1954, in Fulton County, Kentucky, son of the late James Mack Cooper II and the late Maxine (Anderson) Cooper. He married the former Melinda Caldwell in 1973 and she survives. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 2003 after 29 years of service and was a Baptist.

He is survived by two sons, James Mack Cooper, IV of Jacksonville, Florida and Robert Lee (Crystal Renae) Cooper of Troy; his sister, Victoria Lee King of South Fulton; and two grandchildren, Avery RayAnne Cooper and Marcus Earl Wade, V both of Troy.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Jared Holtzclaw, Michael Mathis, David Wright, Shannon Wright, Michael Fletcher and Brian Laster.

Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Brunswick.
