Mable Walton's Obituary
Mrs. Mable Ann Walton, 85, of Tiptonville passed away 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Tiptonville Church of Christ . Jeff O'Dell will officiate. Burial will follow in Lake Memorial Gardens in Tiptonville.
Visitation will be held at Tiptonville Church of Christ from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Spicer, Hunter Spicer, Trent Johnson, Marty Sikes, Jr., Bobby Sikes and Joe Wayne McBride, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Smith, Joe Marlow, Coco Broadway and Laura Craddock.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Walton was born September 27, 1932, in Tiptonville, daughter of the late Kirt and Ruby (Hurst) McBride. She was a member of Keefe Church of Christ in Wynnburg and was a homemaker.
Special thanks to David Keeling, Dr. Mark Fowler and the staff of The Waters in Union City, Kim Hoffman, Jennifer Bratton, Lisa McDaniel, Jenny Guess, Dr. Alvin Miller, and the staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital for their excellent services.
She is survived by three daughters, Carla and Darrell Hoffman of the Dixie Community, Patty and Otis Emerson of Grand Valley, Tn. and Rita Spicer of Symrna, Tn.; one son, Marty and April Sikes of Baltimore, Maryland; three step-daughters, Patsy Shockley, Paula Webber, and Brenda Walsh, all of Plymouth, Michigan; one step-son, Bobby Walton of Plymouth, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Lee Spicer, Tatum Marlow, Rai Ann Reed, Trent Johnson, Marty Sikes, Jr., Bobby Sikes and Jamie Spicer; four great grandchildren and one brother, Waddell McBride of Obion.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, J.W. McBride, Bernard McBride and Truman McBride, and one sister, Melba Edge.
