Lynn Yates' Obituary
Miss Sherry Lynn Yates, 53, of Union City died 3:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was born April 22, 1961, in Camden, daughter of the late William Glen "Bill" and Carolyn Ann (Stepp) Yates. She had been employed at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and had also been a CNA in several area nursing homes. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
She is survived by two sisters and her brother-in-law, Liz Yates and Lisa and Wendell Duke, all of Union City; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles "Chuck" and Melissa Yates of South Fulton; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Chris Yates.
