Edward Lynn Robinson, 81, of Troy passed away 6:04 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2024, at AHC VanAyer in Martin.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Ray Cagle will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Robinson, Bill Robinson, Mike Lamb, Skip Miller, Doug Brewer and Eric Klinkhammer.
Lynn was born December 19, 1942, in Miston, Tennessee, son of the late Charles Thomas Robinson and the Margaret Lucille (Canada) Robinson. He married Sandy Roberson October 8, 1977. Lynn retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City after 40 years of service. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church where he had served as a song leader, a youth leader and served on the church board.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Robinson of Troy; his son, Brent Robinson and wife Christina of Nolensville; two daughters, Kristy Klinkhammer and husband Eric of Dyersburg and April Johnson of Kenton; five grandchildren, Luke Robinson and Kaylee Robinson both of Nolensville, Hayes Klinkhammer and Warren Klinkhammer both of Dyersburg and Blade Johnson of Union City; and two brothers, Jerry Robinson and wife Linda of Franklin and Bill Robinson and wife Debbie of Pleasant Grove, Mississippi.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Jean Lamb; and one brother, Don Robinson.
