Mrs. Lucille Murrell, 91, of Rives passed away 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Calhoun, Brother Eddie Mallonee and Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate. Entombment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be Phil Higdon, Dr. Sam Bradberry, Steve Goodrich, Larry Vernon, Ronnie Robinson and Roger Harris.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 831 N. Everett Blvd., Union City, Tennessee 38261.
Mrs. Murrell was born Februay 8, 1927, in Trimble, daughter of the late Pete and Iva (Goff) Joyner. She married Bob Murrell June 16, 1969. He survives. Mrs. Murrell retired after 21 years of service with Kroger as a checker and office clerk. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Brent Veatch of Rives; two sisters, Dortha Barnes of Atoka and Jeanelle Barker of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine Craig and Rachel Pryor.
