Obituary

Mrs. Lucille Johnson, 82, of Hickman passed away 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chris Aton will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Mrs. Lucille was born February 24, 1939, in Obion County, daughter of the late Millard Filmore Smith, Sr. and Iris Dovey (Ingram) Smith. She married Ivan Louis Johnson August 1978. He passed away September 18, 2017. She worked as a custodian for the Fulton County High School and was a member of First Church of God in Hickman.

She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Williams of Woodland Mills; four grandchildren, Wendy Gansert (Cory) of Woodland Mills, Cody Erwin (Crystal) of Woodland Mills, Jonathon Thomas (Tammy) of Hickman, Kentucky and Bradley Thomas of Walnut Log; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Carnes of Michigan and Marie Goodman (Robert) of Union City; one brother, Jack Smith (Linda) of McKenzie; and two sisters-in-law, Alma Smith of Union City and Darilene Smith of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ollie Artell Thomas, Jr.; one daughter, Debra Joyce Thomas; one son, Ricky Artell Thomas; three brothers, Ed Smith, Willard Smith and Millard Smith; and sister-in-law, Martha Smith.
