Mrs. Esther Louise Pugh, 67, of Union City died 2:53 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Blake Forrest, Sinclair Forrest, Guy Forrest, Tim Gooch, Jonathan Gooch, Paul Thompson and Larry Thompson.

Mrs. Pugh was born April 9, 1947, in Obion County, daughter of the late Leonard and Sally Georgia (Roberson) Thompson. She married Eddie J. Pugh April 9, 1968. He died July 20, 2009. Mrs. Pugh was a homemaker and attended First Assembly of God in Union City.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Tate of Union City; her son, Mark Pugh of Tiptonville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joann and Earl Gooch of Tiptonville and Wanda and Alvin Webb of Hornbeak; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Eddie Dewayne Pugh; two sisters and four brothers.
