Lorraine Biggers' Obituary
Mrs. Lorraine Sophie Biggers, 86, of Union City died 6:15 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
A funeral mass will be conducted at Saint Jude Catholic Church in Martin at a later date.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Biggers was born July 23, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Joseph Frank and Sophie Cecilia (Witkiewicz) Koche. She married John Thomas Biggers, Jr. September 10, 1955. He died June 24, 1989. Mrs. Biggers was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith and attended Saint Jude Catholic Church in Martin.
She is survived by one son, John J. Biggers of Union City; one daughter, Cheryl Ann DeSouza of Haslett, Michigan and one grandson, Jonathan C. Spiller of Jinan, China.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ernest W. Koche.
