Obituary

Mr. Lonnie Michael "Super" Stover, 59, of Union City died 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Lonnie was born June 18, 1951, in Union City, son of the late Lonnie Curby and Brunell (Mills) Stover. He was a truck driver for Williams Sausage Company and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Brandon Stover; his daughter, Kaila Beth Stover; five grandchildren, Amari McCall Ervin, Kylan Maddox Ervin, Kailan McClain Ervin, Channing Morgan Ervin and Robert Phipps Stover; and two sisters, Pat Miller and Charlotte Fisher, all of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by his niece, Deronda Reed.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Justin Thomas, Craig Menees, Jeffery Ervin, Kyle Stover, Steve Cranford and Dennis Cranford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Miller and Allan Brewer.
